Emily has owned horses for over 36 years and has enjoyed a diverse range of disciplines from Pony Club to Thoroughbred Pre Training with a bit of Eventing, Jumping, Team Penning, Campdrafting, Arabian Showing & even Camel Racing! Now Emily’s focus is on breeding, training and competing in Showing & Dressage with her Warmbloods. She has been fortunate to have had success at Royal and National level campaigning her own and clients horses, she also enjoys Judging and has had several appointments at Royal Shows. 

 

Emily has been part of the South East Queensland equestrian community for many years gaining experience in different departments of the Equine industry from retail store management to coaching and running Shows. After a few years out of the industry she has returned to the Saddle Up Fitting team to ignite her passion for saddle fitting, with 8+ years of experience she has enjoyed all facets of saddle fitting and helping create harmony between horse and rider through correctly fitting saddles.  

 

She enjoys meeting customers and their horses from all levels and disciplines and is passionate about educating them about the importance of saddle fit and ensuring the horse is comfortable, as well as promoting better horse performance. Whether your current saddle just needs fitting or you're in the market for a new saddle, Emily would love to help you, and will take the time to find the best saddle to fit you and your horse. 

 

Emily is based at Horseland Underwood and is currently able to service the area from Northern Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan & Beaudesert.
